Art Net City is a virtual city that has a place for everyone. It’s a new Web-site that will be able to help not only creative people, but all people of all professions and activities!

It will help some people to get established in their profession or hobby, while others will use our system to find professionals and products they need!

The social network aspect of our site is just a secondary part. The main idea is much broader as supported by the following features:

1. Every user account can create multiple pages of professions. So you will be able to have 1 2 3 or even more professions in addition to your personal page. Every profession has:
   • Its own page, or even separate website with multiple pages;
   • Portfolio (images, videos, audios and texts);
   • Separate Internet-store, where you can sell art or any other products - the results of your professional activity.
   • Also, you can offer services related to the profession (for example, custom painting, making shoes or even doing massage).

So, for every profession you can create practically separate professional website with online store, blog, articles and portfolio, each of which would attract additional visitors!

2. All these categories will be searchable through the search engine within our system:
   • Professionals (searching for accounts by profession).
   • Their professional pages (for example: artists, programmers)
   • Images (for example: paintings, designs, photos)
   • Videos (for example: video blogs, movies, video reviews, even chefs can upload their cooking videos)
   • Audios (for example: songs, audiobooks)
   • Texts (for example: articles, poetry, lyrics, stories)
   • Goods (for example: jewelers’ works, statues, arts and crafts)
   • Services (custom painting, programming, offering massage)

It is very important that professionals and products can be easily found by those who need them. For example, you are a director and you are looking for music for your new movie. ArtNetCity can help you find sound tracks you need, or even the composer who will write music specifically for your movie.

At the same time, all professions and products form huge convenient general catalog of professions and products. Although it’s optional, by default they are open for every visitor and available for search engines. So now ArtNetCity users are searchable not only within our system but also outside of it!

3. Every user who sells something will take part in the newest reputation system that won't allow unfair sellers to carry out their selling activities.
4. There is an innovative rating system, which affects search results. All users, their professions, media objects, goods and services have their own ratings, and all these ratings are interrelated.

And this is only a part of the features of our system! We've tried to make ArtNetCity the most convenient tool to assist people in their activities:

The organization of contacts and level of access to your page, the organization of images, videos, audios and texts, working with goods and orders and so on. Everyone will be able to use this system as a personal office, where all your work can be organized!

Our system was developed to help any person to get established in his or her profession or hobby :

1. It’s very important to show your profession without separating it from your personality. Some of the most expensive paintings were sold for a high price just because of the name of the artist who painted them. Creative work can't be represented in a separation from the creator.
2. The person can show his portfolio and activities
3. while also having an opportunity to sell the results of his work. Obviously, every creator needs recognition and reward.
4. Other  people can find a person and things created by him or her.

ArtNetCity can also  be used as a marketplace – which means that people, who are engaged in trade, can also use ArtNetCity for their business!

Manufactured goods will be listed separately from personally created ones. So, of course, you will not have to look for paintings among Chinese phones and printed pictures.

Also, you will be able to use ArtNetCity for:

• job search, personnel search
• searching for goods and services
• new acquaintances, and so on...

We also have to emphasize the importance of the copyright protection. While developing our system we paid special attention to it. The date and time of posting your material on ArtNetCity may be used as a proof of your copyright. We guarantee accurate and permanent preservation of this information.

ArtNetCity also has a special system which helps to identify the authors of images, audio recordings, videos or texts uploaded to our system.

Now you can post new creations and not be afraid that they will be stolen!

So, we’ve created a general concept, worked out the design and information structure, and we’ve already launched an Alpha version of our website!

But this is a large, time-consuming project. And we cannot finish it without you. Now the project, that will be able to help you with any of your activities, needs help from you.

Take part in developing ArtNetCity! Any assistance will be greatly appreciated! What we need is:

• The necessary funds to finish the code development,
• work out all the functions and capabilities of the system,
• and set a powerful server up.
